You can easily walk past the hotel without noticing it.

It sits quietly in Malá Strana (Lesser Town) with little fanfare.

Staff: Each time we have visited the hotel, we've been impressed with the reception and their willingness to help visitors. From our experience managing hotels, this can be quite demanding. So we give the Roma high marks.

Rooms: the rooms at the Hotel Roma are very comfortable - matching the hotel's 4 star rating very well. We like the air-conditioning for July and the option of having a standard double room or a suite.

Rates: the rates at Hotel Roma are great considering its central location and high standards. Too bad other hotels aren't willing to offer competitive rates like theirs.

Amenities: rooms include a number of features... air-conditioning, Italian style furnishings, direct dial phone, satellite TV, radio, high speed internet, alarm clock, minibar, safe deposit box, smoke detectors, hairdryer, smoking and nonsmoking rooms, anti allergy wood floors with no carpet, coffee and tea facilities upon request.

Services: free Wi-Fi, 2 elevators, breakfast room, lobby bar, meeting rooms, sauna, fitness room, massage services, room service upon request, small pets allowed, garage parking, extra beds available, exchange facilities, multilingual staff, shuttle transfer services, booking services (tickets, etc.), laundry and dry cleaning, trouser press and other services.

The hotel's hidden courtyard was a nice surprise.

More Than Meets the Eye

Most hotels in Prague have one key ingredient that they love to brag about. Sometimes it's their "ideal" location or maybe they think they have the cheapest rates.

But for us, the Hotel Roma doesn't have one of these main topics.

It's just very good in many aspects.

There are no surprises at Hotel Roma Prague. You get very nice accommodation, high quality services and a great location. Their rates are also affordable considering its 4 star rating.

If you are considering this hotel, you shouldn't feel apprehensive at all.
