Can I walk everywhere I need to visit in Prague? What is the historic part of Prague and do I have to use the metro here or can I just walk everywhere? I hope you understand my questions. Sorry for my english.

Regards,

Gerard

Prague Attractions - Walk Everywhere
by: Martina

Hi, thanks for your question.

Prague is a very compact city. That means you can walk to most attractions and sights. If you stay in Mala Strana (Lesser Town), Old Town or Josefov (Jewish Quarter) then you can walk everywhere. And some areas in New Town are good for walking to the centre as well. Most Prague attractions are in Mala Strana and Old Town.

Of course Prague has a great metro and transportation system. There are trams that will take you to all the sights. Normally you don't even need the metro - just the trams.

If you need more help, send us the address of your hotel or apartment and we'll send you more specific info.

Thanks,

Martina
