This is a basic floor plan of the Nicholas apartment. It's not to exact scale, but it gives you a good idea of the space and layout. Each bedroom can have either a double bed or two singles beds, just let us know on the booking form.

The Nicholas is most popular with groups of 4 persons especially two couples since each bedroom has its own bathroom.

In the Neighborhood

The Nicholas Apartment is located in a residential neighborhood with a nice selection of dining nearby. There are also a few sights that you would overlook if you stayed in another area. For example, don't miss the Infant of Prague Church. It's a Catholic pilgrimage site, but interesting to all faiths.

Or, stroll through gloriously green and romantic Petrin (park) around the corner from the Nicholas apartment. There are numerous paths here to enjoy and incredible views of the city at the top. If you don't want to walk up, hop on the funicular.

Cafes: Prague cafes are excellent for catching your breath and writing a few postcards. There many cozy spots near the apartment - we like the Cafe Savoy and the Mill Cafe on Kampa Island - two very unique spots.

Restaurants: There are no shortages of restaurants in Prague and this goes for the immediate neighborhood too. The area around Ujezd tram stop offers all kinds of cuisines - classic Czech, Mexican, Thai and even Sardinian. But that's just a few. Of course there are a few places to grab a drink as well.

Food Stores: You can choose between two large Tesco stores nearby. It's easiest to hop on the tram for about 5 minutes or you can walk there. Tesco offers pretty much all you need. There are other smaller shops nearby too - they have all the basics with fruit and vegetables too.

Public Transport: The nearest tram (trolley) stop is Ujezd. This is one of the most useful stops in the city. You'll find trams here that cross the city including the 22 that will take you straight up to Prague Castle.

Sights: The apartment is on the castle side of the river in the area called Mala Strana. Here are walking times to a few sights: Charles Bridge, 5-7 min. -  Old Town 10 min -  Prague Castle 20 min - Petřin, 2 min. - Kampa Island, 4 minutes.
