Dum u velke boty, or House at the Boot, is a
delightfully, charming family-owned Prague pension. Located just a few
minutes' walk from Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, Dum u velke boty
is central yet quiet and
romantic. It's surely one of the best and most charming
accommodations in Prague.
Built before 1669, the house is situated on a small square just across from the impressive Lobkowitz Palace (the current German Embassy). The house has been restored taking careful measures to keep as much of its history intact.
The caretakers (and owners), share the building and treat each guest as their own family - welcoming everyone with care and humility.
The rooms combine subtle elements of the past with beautiful antiques and modern facilities. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room and the restored cellar is an ideal gathering place.
All in all, Dum u velke boty is an ideal choice for a quiet getaway, honeymoon or short city break. It's service and rooms are unrivaled - while maintaining reasonable prices. What more could any traveler ask for?
