Belvedere Apartment

Sunny Studio with View of Park

The Belvedere Apartment is a quiet studio with a lovely view. It's a perfect alternative to a hotel room. And it includes a kitchenette and en suite bathroom.

The Belvedere also has a fantastic feature which is totally unique. In the bathroom, one wall is the back side of the building's original chimney. The date of construction is even scrawled on the side, 1547.

The apartment is on the third floor of Residence Thunovska. This is a hidden and beautiful spot right across from the steps to the castle. The building dates from 1527, and the cellar is still from the 14th.

The building has lots of original features that give an added bonus to your stay. It's a subtle rustic place with quiet little apartments in the heart of Malá Strana.

The Belvedere has a very nice view that you won't find in a cheap hotel. With sunny windows, parquet floors and satellite TV, it makes for a lovely apartment for rent in Prague.

Another calling card of the Belvedere is its view. The apartment has three sets of windows all on different walls so you get a sense of different aspects of the area.

From the left side you can see the majestic St. Nicholas Church. From the center and right windows, there are nice views of Petřín park surrounding rooftops. It honestly is a unique perspective.

This original painted ceiling is just outside the door to the apartment.

The apartment is on the third floor. There is no elevator, but the stairs aren't too difficult - and after all, you probably won't be going up and down all day.

This is a shot of Residence Thunovska from the street. The facade still holds onto its 16th century painting by Bartholomäus Spranger. He was part of the royal court at the time and an official painter for the emporer.
