Prague's Easter markets are almost over. Will you pick up a painted egg or simply gain some weight with the help of good Czech food from the vendors on Old Town Square?

The Easter markets run through April 15th. If you can't make them, watch our video to give you a peek at what you'll miss.

Golden Well Hotel Prague

TripAdvisor recently came out with their annual Travelers' Choice awards for 2012. Their list of Best Hotels for 2012 in particular caught our eyes because two hotels in Prague made the list - the Golden Well and the fancy Alchymist Residence.

Of course, some of the hotels on this list are quite luxurious, so we can only dream about making a reservation. But, these lists are always fun to explore and dream about, especially during a winter like we're having.

It's interesting to note that both of the Prague hotels are in Malá Strana, or Lesser Town. We wonder if it has to do with the quiet streets and fewer crowds in this area. Ha, ha! Maybe that's why this area is translated as Lesser Town - less people, less noise, less notoriety…

Not all Prague nightclubs are created equally. Some are super-tourist heavy, some are swanky pretty-people joints and even others are seemingly leftover discos from the Communist days.

We've discovered a few of the more popular and recommended places to consider. But, these are just a few suggestions. There's no way to cover all the great clubs in Prague. AND, don't feel like you need to stick to just one place. Prague's city center is very walk-able and packed with various clubs and bars. So you can easily drop in on a couple in one night.

We love seeing the bridge from a variety of different angles - not just the tourist spots. For example, try roaming Kampa Island for unique views of the bridge as you look toward Old Town. And, what about the little beach on Strelecky Island? Hardly anyone ventures there for a photo, except us of course.

We particularly love the location on Prague's riverbanks and just down the street from Old Town Square.

The Lokal Inn Prague is one of the nicest, small hotels in Prague that we've seen in awhile. It's perfectly located and combines historic features and modern-day comfort.

If you don't need a hotel room, you might still stop by and review their menu. This is a classic Czech restaurant where locals go for lunch or a good beer.

We recently visited and chatted with the manager. And, we were oh so enchanted by what's on offer here. The rooms are ever so comfortable and the suites are surprisingly large.
